This book was one that you didn’t ever want to put down. The series of emotions you run through combined with the historical context of yet another omission from our “history textbooks”is riveting. I truly appreciate Valdez for providing a history lesson and eye-opening inspiration based on a real life story. I highly recommend reading the paperback or audiobook for even more clarity!
