I don't understand how people can like this book. The writing style is horrendous, the main character is an annoying white city girl who doesn't see how privileged she is and has zero character development during the entire book and the author somehow wants the reader to feel bad for her because her parents divorced??, and the plot twist is the kind of twist I used to come up with in 7th grade. literally. If it wasn't for school, I would've stopped reading after chapter 5.
