I love seeing more and more graphic novels and comics making their way onto television and the big screen. The writers are trying to stay true with the comic which is refreshing because that means they actually read a comic or two and are not drastically changing soul of the characters, but only adding refinements as needed. Cobie has brought Dex to life. She and the supporting characters are doing a terrific job and hope the show hangs around for a while. This comment is not a dig to Stumptown, but a compliment. Dex is a modern day Jim Rockford. You can't help but love Dex. She is 3 dimensional with human frailties and life challenges like the rest of us. Her integrity and moral compass guide her along the way. The fact that the writers are not hiding her PTSD, but taking it head on should be commended.
