I have to admit that the previews of The First Lady was definitely a turn off. I hadn’t plan to watch it because the scenes shown with Michelle Obama were somewhat disturbing. The make up and the exaggerated facial expressions were not appealing. It was my husband who started watching it while I was out of town who said to take a look at it. I was so glad I did. The three First Ladies had very interesting histories and their contributions to the White House were extraordinary. I would look forward to additional seasons with different First Ladies. I would recommend this show to my family and friends.
