UNDERRATED. Rotten tomatoes = 58?!!!
This movie has 5 or 6 of the most clever/memorable scenes of all the Coen's output. Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tim Robbins deliver precise comic execution reminiscent of Gable and Hepburn's screwball best.
Did I say anything about the soundtrack? It soars for all the right reasons.
As the credits roll, you say to yourself: this is why I go to the movies.

Fantastic cocktail.... art deco berlin... golden twenties...weimar culture... l'entre deux guerres... bolsheviks.. black leather... blackmail... perfect mixture to tamp down the covid19 blues... I recommend checking out the soundtrack on spotify!!
