Wooden dialogue, strange and unintentionally funny flashbacks that feel out of place, some unnecessary bits that don't add anything to the overall story...Pedro please go back to Spain

As a big Del Toro fan I was pumped to see this. Very beautiful to look at with incredible production design but the story left me cold. It was dull and I felt Cooper was not the right actor for it, though I doubt another actor could've made the story interesting. A top notch cast was wasted, I recommend the original Tyrone Power instead. I'm glad I saw this on streaming instead of paying for it.
