The book swirl around two main character Theo and Alysia. Theo is a psychotherapist and the latter is the murderer come patient who stopped talking after killing her husband. To put it simple, Theo, the curious guy wants to unravel the meaning behind the silence of Alysia.
📍The plot twist is good. When you read, you start to wonder, whether she really killed her husband or there's someone who is behind the murder because she liked her husband very much. You start to analyse all the characters who at first seems normal but later found to be twisted (paul, max, phelix and Dr. West).
📍At one point, when Alysia break the silence, it makes the reader thinks that Alysia was silent to escape from the murder. While reading, we can't certainly come to the conclusion that Alysia is the killer. It arises many doubt within you.
📍While alternatively the plot develops on Theo, who was trying to figure out the meaning of Alysia's silence, a sane person wasn't so insane . Giving his childhood trauma (same as Alysia), overcoming those trauma and subsequently fell into betrayal of the partner and act hurt and self doubt of his worth because the trauma still holds him tightly when he is vulnerable are written nicely.
Later the story merges and disappoints you at one point (I don't want to give spoiler) because you can't come to the conclusion who is wrong with the given circumstances and ends. I think, it ended abruptly.
I really liked the book. It worth your leisure time..
