A crushing coming-to-age story of just a glimpse of what transpired during the destruction of Palestine and the forceful removal of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in 1948. To finally see the portrayal of this catastrophic period on TV finally restored my faith in humanity to showcase a supressed history.
What the main character had to go through utterly shocked me even though I am a History major. The Palestinian resilence is unmatched.
