What a waste of an incredible opportunity. The story was intriguing on paper but the execution of screenplay left more holes in the story. I must admit Monisha Koirala was a revelation and so was Sanjida but Aditi Rao Haideri was the star of the show. The maid duo and Gulam were commendable. Sonakshi did her best with what was given to her. But the more cringeworthy performance was by Bansali’s niece! She had the titular role and she screwed it and how! I felt like her face was a poor CGI and hence no human emotion evoked from her. I fast forwarded all her parts. Men in this series were just ok. Nothing worth writing about. All and all…kathak was the most disappointing part of this series. Richa was the only one who Did some Tatkaar.
