Ozymandias is a thought provoking piece of work especially today when huge statues appear to have come to life and rule nations with absolute power. One only has to think of Trump and Musk hating art and wanting to be rid of it. Putin ditto. These monsters will all build statues to their glory that one day will be found crumbling and half buried in sand, as their time has come and gone.
