I was overseas at the time I first watched this film. totally unaware I was even going to see a film period! It would not have been on my must see list in 1996. I was told before watching, this film was a very accurate portrayal of the situation there, at that time! Although the subject matter was harsh, and not my usual type of film. I found myself intensely watching, waiting for what could possibly be next!! The unexpected experience DEFINITELY CHANGED THE WAY I JUGED IF I WOULD SEE A NEW FILM OR NOT!
