The Beginning of the movie is when the MC (Adam Reed) , a 13-14 year old kid, had lost his father due to an accident with another car driver which I felt had an effect on him and how he treats his mom.
Few months later, he was in school getting bullied for no good reason and it's probably his first time getting into a fight. Because the mom scolded him even though he wasn't to blame for this part of the scene, I hate it because the mother is just judging him on the outside, not even wanting to listen to his story of the fight.
After that Adam Reed had to be home alone because his mother had an important meeting to attend which it is not reasonable to leave a kid alone without any supervisors especially in the middle of the night.
When Adam Reed's future self came to the timeline which he attended to arrive. He started camping near his old house. I find this scene very unrealistic because why would you be camping near to your old self? It would cost you trouble or an accident.
The rising action part when Adam Reed, his future self, found his wife but soon after was found by the antagonist (Maya Sorian) this scene was just rushed because they met for not even 10min and had to run for their lives from a shooting ship and armed men .
In my opinion, Louis Reed, who was the father of Adam Reed, did not get enough screen time because most of the plot/scene was because of his invention which was the time machine and technically he was the god of time.
