Absolutely brilliant film. The future of the DCU is in great hands with James Gunn. Potentially the best film that has come out this year (except Thunderbolts).
The antithesis to Man of Steel. It shows Superman as he is supposed to be -- standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves, kind-hearted, saving civilians in the street. The complete opposite of Cavill standing watching a courtroom full of people die.
Potentially the greatest switch between Clark and Superman since Christopher Reeve. David Corenswet was outstanding in showing the two - - especially in an interview scene. His vocal tone changes, and he looks so different with glasses and fluffy hair.
The humour was great, and the film showcased very real world problems. The bombing of Jalandpur from Boravia is a direct parallel of Israel/Palestine or even Russia/Ukraine.
An amazing feel-good movie that is guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes.
