I enjoy most of Mr Cussler’s works however, I must say that if you have read one you’ve pretty much read them all. The formula is the same for the all but usually the well researched history behind them makes each one worth reading. That is why this book’s obvious pandering to a left wing audience was so disappointing. It was a constant lecture on global warming that made me wonder if he’s forgotten who reads his books. The constant harping on the subject made it difficult to read, given that so much of this has been debunked. If you can get past the Thumbergesk diatribe then you may enjoy the read.

A good story completely ruined by the virtual signaling they/them BS. Makes it almost unreadable.
