Genuinely such a bad movie. The killers motives make little to no sense. Killing couples being a โkinkโ but not explaining why or how they discovering killing specifically couples is never discussed.
The main characters are a painful watch, especially after witnessing multiple deaths all they can think about is being together and flirting. They donโt express any trauma or even any human reactions to the horrors they had just witnessed.
Then to wrap up the movie they go back to the scene of the crime to propose moving in together and even marriage. Going back to the scene of a crime to propose on the anniversary of a massacre would be extremely disrespectful to the victims.
This movie would have been better if the killer was just one singular killer with a more heartbreaking backstory (such as getting their heart broken and giving up on love). Ally also should have been given a better backstory, like her parents had a love story like love until her dad cheated instead of passing away, it would have given a better explanation to why she hates love.
A good idea, very poor execution.
