After reading "Unnatural Causes: The Life and Many Deaths..." By Richard Shepherd I was left wanting. I searched and searched for a book that was by a forensic pathologist about forensic pathology and not intended as autobiographical. This is it! In addition to forensic pathology and brief anecdotes, Ryan made many excellent, thought-provoking points that has given me an opportunity to learn, unlearn and relearn. To start, I will certainly be revising my list of questions and assertions for the next forensic pathologist I run into at a braai!
I sincerely appreciate all the hard work and years of learning and training... And learning and training... And learning... And training... That paved way to this book! Thank you!
