This show, is fascinating and thought provoking. the notion that everyone has lost the ability to see and have to rely on their other heightened senses was engrossed and delivered supremely by a wonderful cast. jason is fantastic in this role, he shows this maturity and holds scenes by knowing when to hold back. i must say Alfre is also deeply immersed in this role, its one of my favorite performances from her. the story is gradually evolving, with the introduction of that other jerlamarel kid, giving me the impression that in that post apocalyptic time, jerlamarel set out to re-originate sight by leaving his seed in different tribes. to summarize when something is rare people tend to fear and associate it with strange forces, in this series sight had been lost for years and when two kids are born with it, the tribe of witch hunters had spread an uninformed belief that anyone who sees is a witch. this belief seem to be fueled by a lost heartbreak of the queen of the witch finders, she was on a path of vengeance because this jerlamarel fellow who could see had left her for her sister who was the mother of the twins who could see. they are hunted and on their journey to try and find jerlamarel, they meet different hardships and secrets unfold that leaves room for wild exploration. the series is worth watching.
