It’s SATC but with gay men. If you thought Carrie Bradshaw was a narcissist crybaby pseudo-intellectual with a shopping addition then you’ve seen Uncoupled already. If SJP annoys you, so will NPH. Cliché, trite, melodramatic with clunky scenarios from a supporting cast of one sided stereotypes, it’s as if Darren star just changed the names on his old SATC scripts thinking these would be modern and fresh. They’re not. After the 1st episode, I knew these would have the same formula at SATC. Hell, he didn’t even change the theme music much - it’s the same notes with a different arrangement. A minor character in one episode tells the “Samantha” of the group, “You’re just a shallow, narcissistic gay cliché” Yep! Pretty much describes this show. It just needs a shot of NPH wearing sky high Manolo Blahniks to be a complete ripoff.
