Director Sethunath deserves appreciation for courageously presenting an untouched subject that questions the importance of peace of mind and emotional well-being of men in family life. He skillfully layers the story with relatable incidents that add depth and realism to the screenplay, making it easy for audiences to connect. The film also portrays the harsh reality of how men are often left to prove their innocence despite being truthful, while the legal system tends to offer greater protection to women. It further highlights the growing number of male suicides related to family issues—an area still largely unaddressed even within the legal framework. Asif Ali delivers a powerful performance, continuing his streak of choosing meaningful and high-quality roles. Harisree Ashokan and Sidharth Bharathan offer raw and compelling performances, while Azees Nedumangad and Anand Manmadhan bring balance to the narrative with subtle humor and emotional depth. Vijayakumar Henry, Neeraja Rajendran, and Balachandran Chullikad also make notable contributions to this thought-provoking film.

Kangana and her team have outdone themselves with Emergency—five stars don’t do it justice! This film is a true masterpiece, setting a new benchmark for Bollywood. Those who tried to discourage theater viewership—guess what? OTT is here to ensure it reaches everyone! Emergency is a cinematic triumph, seamlessly blending compelling storytelling with powerful social commentary. It delves into complex themes like race, privilege, and systemic bias with remarkable finesse, all while keeping audiences captivated with its gripping narrative and unexpected twists. The performances are nothing short of phenomenal, with the cast bringing incredible authenticity and emotional depth to their roles. The screenplay is both thought-provoking and thoroughly engaging, ensuring viewers are hooked from start to finish. The music is an unexpected gem, further enriching the experience. This is more than just a film—it’s a bold, necessary, and impactful piece of cinema that lingers in your mind long after the credits roll, sparking meaningful discussions. A must-watch for anyone who appreciates storytelling that both challenges and inspires. As for Kangana, she has been my absolute favorite actress for nearly two decades, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon!

What a movie!!! I couldn't blink the whole show and my emotions kept connecting with the scenes. The way the director utilised VJS is simply wow. VJS carried his character throughout the movie without any overacting/underacting. Very less dialogues but his acting speaks volumes. Many goosebump moments, especially the first fight scene with the gangsters. Nattu, simply nailed it. He performed exactly what the character needed. All others acted decently. Anurag proved his mettle once again. We must appreciate Abirami's performance for sure. I have 5 stars because I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Happy for VJS as he picked the right Movie!!!
