Movie is satire, I get it. But satire fails when it is presented as absurdity on every conceivable level. The only scene worth watching in this overly-long film is towards the end when they're having dinner. It's the only time during the 2+ hours of nonsense in which I thought, "this could be real". If you watch end-of-world or apocalyptic movies, avoid this one. It's just bad.
