This series first episode really looks like an expensive movie but about low life common people that are hit by the war. Huge cast, great attention to detail in every scene. Looks like it was filmed at those times! Beautiful looking women, nice looking men, including great Polish actors. A gay line in the plot too, among other love, hate, and horrors.

It is by far the first best movie I saw from some time, the release in Romania cinemas was in January 2020. Nice camera roll I would say continuous filming. Although about the horrors of the war, a 100% men distribution and superior acting, the movie is highly inspiring and emotional. From beauty to horror and then back to serenity in the end, yes, was surprised for the optimistic and happiness feel for what I would have expected before seeing it.
