Have decided to watch Midsomer Murders from go to woe - yes I am bored. Am up to series seven and am wondering the following:
a) there are usually a number of murders over a few days so why do the Police keep Barnaby 1 or 2 on as they are clearly not up to the job?
b) why do the murderers hang around and continue murdering while the constabulary do their investigating?
c) how does Callie manage to have so many career changes without any training? So far she has been an actress, a librarian and in public relations.
d) why is there always a lady of senior years riding through the town on a bicycle who will always be intrinsically involved in the murder plot?
e) are there really so may towns in England obsessed with magic and spiritualism?
f) why wasn't Barnaby 1 marched up to HR regularly for the way he treated his first sergeant?
And yes I know it is fiction but in my opinion too formulaic.
