Pretty sure the screenwriter and director said let’s just put as much gore, horror, strange clips and images and it should be right. The message of the story was obvious within the first 30 minutes and went absolutely no where after that. Surely someone paid off all the people giving this movie 5 stars. If anything the movie traumatised me and not in a good way. It didn’t make me reflect and critically think about the message because of the poorly executed message. Sometimes less is more and this was just over the top. I feel bad for Demi Moore because she is a great actress and is above this film. That also made her character seem absolutely stupid. She gets given a substance and doesn’t ask any questions and thinks oh probably inject myself with this now.
