The plot was so confusing and boring at the same time. How is that even possible? All of the characters were horribly written and incredibly shallow. Their actions never had any reasoning, or thought behind them. It was all done for plot convenience, as if there was any plot in the first place. 🙄 I found all the visual effects to be unnecessary and overdone. Their attempt to be more dark and gory was unconvincing and tasteless. The ongoing romance between Christine and Stephen was absolutely painful to watch. Christine is freaking married and Stephen is still all in love with her. Just let the woman be. America’s character was extremely 1-dimensional and flavorless. Her backstory was literally nonexistent, and her origin is unclear. The acting was mediocre to say the least. The way their lines were delivered were very stiff and awkward. I couldn’t even watch some of the more “serious” scenes without having to hold back laughter from how unbelievable this movie was. Overall, I do feel like this is one of Marvel’s weaker projects. I hope we can all move on and forget about this disaster of a movie. 🙏
