It takes a special kind of author to explain that truth which I and many others have been hiding from and refusing to see for most of our lives. I admit that when I first encountered Escape From Quantopia I was loath to look inside and see what I knew, instinctively, would be there. It's only human to fear death, one of the truest and least avoidable facts of life. Avoidance is a common way of "coping"; except that it is exactly what has brought humanity to our current impasse.
