The Worst Adaptation To DC History PERIOD-
Joker 2 is without doubt the greatest insult to one of the darkest complex misunderstood villains yet.. I've failed to understand the message this waste of time and film this so- called director was trying to make.. Arthur Fleck is supposed to be the reflection of what childhood and society has made him
First off- I didn't appreciate how Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga) was portrayed, she's a psychiatrist turned mental that evaluates Arthur Fleck turned Bonnie n Clyde..she had no story line of where she came, no accent..just an ordinary girl with mommy/daddy issues like the average person ..felt no connection between them at all like the comics/ movies
Secondly - Arthur Fleck was weak ,none of that dark natured edge , daring intense comebacks for society treating him like garbage, no follow up from the 1st sequence of the movie..is he related to the Wayne family??..his mother was a mental case ( well she wasn't his biological mother) but was the relationship between Bruce Wayne's father and mother true???, where was the everyday dark /gloomy chaos of Gotham City.. the movie was entirely in the hospital..I mean the movie took place in Arkham correct?
Thirdly - why turn an intense dark franchise it into a musical?..yes the 1st movie had it but that wasn't the entirety of it by far.. the 1st movie had vision, creativity, an awesome intro to characters history into understanding his transformation from wanting to be loved, understood, from wanting to be treated like a human being then turned mentally unhinged..the director had no creativity for the narrative or understanding of the character, clearly didn't do his/ her homework just threw in countless musical numbers to make up for lacking of imagination for the characters, it was just thrown together and hoped for the best
Lastly - if you're expecting a continuation of the first movie for the Joker to become full form of the avenging villain to get back at society for creating the monster they created.. don't waste your time, I'm so happy I didn't go to the big screen for this..they made Arthur Fleck a watered down version of a person who just gave up to the consequences of his misunderstood actions instead of the badass villain that all of his fans have grown to love, there was no challenge for character or imagination from this director.. you don't turn a hardcore dark unapologetic villain into a weak little nobody that surrendered to his fate, thanks for nothing.. they should be fired for this big this trash.. good as garbage if you ask me
