Is Masterpiece the newest porn provider? I've long been a fan of Masterpiece theater and especially love historic period shows. Their attention to detail in costuming, setting, and culture has been outstanding and their shows a pleasure to watch. It's very disappointing to see the pornographic trend in the latest Masterpiece shows. The unnecessary nude and sex scenes are becoming more and more explicit. This week, Sanditon was introduced to the US and comes across as a porn addict's sexual fantasy of a partial manuscript written by Jane Austen. According to the British reviews, it quickly turns into an x-rated show. I'm no longer a fan of Masterpiece and won't watching. If Masterpiece feels that making money from the exploitation of women and the destructiveness of pornography is acceptable, they need to be honest about it and move their shows from PBS to a porn channel.
