Wow. As much as I love seeing a movie where the lead role is a non-white woman over “a certain age,” this was an incomprehensible mess. It’s at least 45 minutes too long, riddled with seizure-inducing editing, and disgusting in ways that do nothing to contribute to the plot. Oh, wait. Calling it a plot is overly generous. This movie left the impression that it was made by film students using a script written by their 12-year-old brothers. We sat through it, hoping something would coalesce. No such luck.
