A movie that i expected to be enjoyable, informative and a good watch, but this film exceeded all expectations and then some. Diljit, Anjum Batra, Parineeti and the rest of the team were absolutely phenomenal in the devotion they showed in depicting their respective roles. Imtiaz Ali's direction is magical and the whole team that are behind in bringing this to our screens deserve a tonne of credit. With stellar performances from all cast members, the movie keeps us glued on our seats from start to finish. Diljit is a true stalwart of the acting industry as a whole. Forget bollywood, hollywood or whatever else, this man has done full justice to the epic role that was warranted for the role of Amar Singh Chamkila. Anjum Batra and Parineeti did a fantastic job in the roles they played and all in all, each actor was complementary to the roles they were playing. The story is poignant, but yet beautifully depicted. This movie is a must watch for any film buff. This is one of the best movies i have seen in the longest time, be it English, Punjabi, Spanish or whatever other language. Kudos to each and every person involved in this project. Hoping to see Anjum Batra especially in titular roles in the future. Parineeti, this is your best performance to date. A pleasure to have watched this beast of a movie. Thank you for making this.

A beast of a directorial debut encompassed with phenomenal acting performances from everyone in this project. Congratulations, Jordan, Dev, and team. Shot and choreographed with a kineticism that never veers too far into the sleekly balletic, the fight scenes here are often enthralling and genuinely bruising. They retain a necessary sense of life-or-death consequence and of the frenzied amateur using every survival tool at his disposal. When Patel's character stabs an opponent, he drives the blade in not with his hands but with his teeth. You wince, but at the same time, you want to applaud. Monkey Man deserves to be a hit. A mammoth effort from Dev that is a must watch!

The best Hollywood movie i have seen for a long time. It is a punchy, funny satire. There’s something oddly satisfying about the way McKay's film lets us laugh at our own doom. Highly recommended

I was sceptical prior to watching this, expecting the same old bollywood good cop plot. But damn was i proven wrong? Kudos to the story writer, the dorector and the team for making such an epic movie with a subtle glorifying message promoting patriotism, inclusion and communal harmony. The action the comical one linera and the overall acting by all actors is brilliant. Loved the movie from start to finish. A true family entertiner and a mush watch. Possibly my favourite rohit shetty movie of all time.
