(Possible spoiler alert) I love Jurassic park. Fantastic movie, I dont mind some of the sequels either... but uh... this was an... interesting watch, and not in a good way. I don't think it deserves 0 stars... but definately not 5 stars. The movie does play true to most Jurassic parks in that is is full of characters making terrible decisions, the classic side characters you know will just be used for Dino food and a beautiful music score. However this felt like an AI written script with the sole purpose of playing a homage to previous movies, the kitchen raptor scene, the flare running scene, the long grass scene and the classic opening scene of someone falling prey to a dinosaur you barely get to see. It did a good job at building suspense and definately felt more like a horror film, but I don't think this film brought anything new to the franchise. Having seen it and hindsight being what it is, I wouldn't recommend paying to see it.
