Mind-blowing story. The kind of brotherhood of the main casts was heartwarming, melting to the bones like as if Lan Wanji found his real blood brother, his total support to Wei Wuxian was everlasting that will move even the heart of stone. I laughed, I cried, I sympathized with them. Their brotherhood relationship might also be mistaken for lovers between male and female bec of the way they stared at each other as if romantically but I don't want to spoil my mind or it's gonna be disgusting for me as they're my heroes, brave, powerful, strong and charmingly good looking. No, I don't wanna ruin the mood of the story. It's so amazing how they solved the mystery of their past after Wei returned 16 years later. The cinematography was spectacular as if I'm watching a movie. The story brought me to China's ancient time, so marvelous, the woods, the mountains, the river of those days, gosh, splendid. The storyline was spontaneous, the set of characters worked perfectly impressive. Bravo to all who made this story a real mind-blowing.

The only thing that I hated in this series was when Gen. Fu Chou died😩. Oh how much I loved the way he portrayed his role as a villain but, still, the kindness in his heart can be felt, he's very calm, gentle, and so charming. Lovely. Everyone did a great job. I give it five stars, thumbs up for a job well done👏👏👏👏😊👍

Amazing story, different from other ancient love stories that I've watched already. The loyalty and sacrifices the ML showed to his Emperor friend and vice versa were captivating. The chemistry bet Yang Mi and Willian Chan was excellent. I love Yang Mi, but the only thing that bothered me was her voice, the way it was dubbed was like an old-fashion way back in the 1960s, lacking emotion, and sounds monotonous, and the pacing became sluggish in some episodes in the middle part, and other than that, everything was perfect for me.
