This movie was thought provoking although a bit far fetched in many places. I loved the main character Lily , she was an authentic and kind person, but why didn’t she show some curiosity and ask her partner about the cause of his brothers death as a child? As if you wouldn’t pry and want to know this? Anyway, i liked how there were no graphic sex scenes which was irrelevant to this love story and I loved that the dtr and her mother were able to understand eachother. There was also a beginning middle and end which is lacking in many movies these days. I haven’t read the book but thought it was a very good film.
