Read Tonya Tuck's review.....she's right on. Holly Golightly is a vapid gold digger with no personality . She is a user and a thief. Paul Varjak falls in love with her anyway, which apparently gives him the right to 'own her'. This is NOT what young women should be watching! Yes, Audrey Hepburn is lovely, but there is hardly a plot. Let's not mention Mickey Rooney's racist portrayal....this movie hasn't been banned like Song of the South because it is apparently okay to belittle Asians....if Rooney's character had been black instead of Asian, I wouldn't have been able to watch this movie for the first time last night, nor would anyone else, and that would be a good thing.
