I’m having the hardest time getting through this book because the writing is completely flat and boring. The writer should be completely banned from using the word “and.” It’s slowing down his lackluster descriptions and crippling the flow. All his characters sound the same and are underdeveloped. None of them have any voice or personality. So much of this book is just tediously listing events in order instead of building any buy in from the reader.
