Brilliantly underplayed by the supreme cast of characters. All of them with a long history of stage work, which is why they are so incredibly good. beautiful and delicate directing by Dustin Hoffman. an absolute delight to watch.

Great movie but casting very odd and the director should have reshot the scenes where Redgrave’s fillings are very obvious in her teeth. Movie does not wear well today
