Im writing this from a perspective of a person who hasnt enjoyed either of the last two games hes purchased. this one and baulders gate 3. I came into this game fully expecting to like it because I love the persona series and fully expected this to be more of the same. For whatever reason for me its not. 1st problem the music. This is more of a personal taste thing and I aknowledge that. I get that the operatic soundtrack is meant to give like this epic weight to the journey your about to go on and it did that.... for the first 5 minutes. Then every song i heard began grating on my nerves. I just dont like operatic stlye of music I guess 2nd problem the combat I have expectations out of my turn based rpgs for example if theres an enemy for me to fight i expect a screen wipe some punchy battle music and then a menu with my battle commands for me to pick from. I know a lot of people love that you can kill weak enemies without engaging in turn based combat for whatever reason being able to do that turns this game into a foreign experience for me that I have neither the time or the patience to understand I grew up loving rpgs ff7 and legend of dragoon being my personal favorites but after picking up this and baulders gate 3 and hating both to their core im left wondering if i even know what i like anymore
