The game is one of the best I played, and I’m a gen-X gamer who started with the Legend of Zelda on Nintendo. Other than the overall quality of the product, I commend the writing, not just for the overall plot, but for the side quests. The content is original and the story sometimes took me out of my comfort zone, like when I helped my Qunari companion to settle personal issues with her mother. Many games are bigger, and have more side quests, but they’re usually repetitive and boring. This game has consequences, and I like that Lucranis was pissed at me after I made my choice, because that’s what life is when you’re any type of leader: you do what you think is best and you deal with consequences. I worked hard with him and gain back his loyalty. The characters feel real, and my favorite companion Harding even brought a tear to my eye. Moreover the graphic are awesome, and you can customize the appearance of your gear so you’re not stuck with a powerful ridiculously ugly set.
Way ahead of RPGs like Stargate because of the writing and the creative content. Attaboy and attagirl BioWare!
