The game is pretty good, but it feels so… unfinished Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate this game that much, I really liked the new mega evolutions, the cooldown mechanic is a really cool concept in my opinion, I really liked how much easier it is to shiny hunt, and overall, I think wild zones would work perfectly if it was planned correctly.. However, that’s about it… this whole entire game feels like you payed for an unfinished beta, I mean, sure you’re having fun and the mechanics are cool but it feels so empty, I was already disappointed that it was going to be in one whole area, but now I’m more disappointed because there’s literally NOTHING that was hidden from the trailer! I was expecting more to the game that wasn’t shown in the trailer, only to be given a product that feels like it was rushed. Customization, ehhh… I know a lot of people don’t usually play Pokemon for outfits, but I do most of the time. I was expecting them to atleast, ATLEAST add some more longer hairstyles, they did not do that, I have no idea why Pokemon doesn’t want to make it so that people can make their characters look unique. I really hope in the dlc we can atleast change the mega stone position or have unique poses because it would make it easier for people to project themselves to the protagonist! I know that the pokemon protagonists feel like they have no personality traits whatsoever, that’s usually so that the person playing can project themselves onto said character more, but what’s the point in making a character an empty egg if you’re not going to give us the paint to colour the egg?!? Story is pretty cool, I think Canari is better than Iono and I will die on that hill. But there were literally times where I couldn’t tell if the game was still hand holding me or not. YES, THE TUTORIAL IS THAT LONG, and I was so sick of the hand holding but I still dealt with it hoping it would end ((What was the point of removing the option to not auto save??????)) I still like the game, i think it’s really cool, and I will keep playing it, but it just feels so empty and disappointing… this game is a 3.5/5 at best, and that’s me being generous
