It was fine. Over reliant on jump scares. There were certain scares in the play that would have been good on their own, but ramping up the volume, the effect is cheapened. I felt myself just waiting for the next over-loud jump scare to come around.
Set design was really impressive. Story was good and light hearted in places, which one would expect from its writers. Actors were good.
I understand why they went for the big jump scares. Although, in my opinion, a more subtle approach would have made the play more refined and less sensational. But, bums on seats and all that.
There is a twist, but by no means is it reinventing the wheel.
