Someone posted that this game is tedious and is unrealistic for the amount of time that it would take to "git gud" for the average adult trying to actually have a life while enjoying a bit of game play at the end of the day/work week. I couldn't agree more. Honestly, I hate this game. I'm not a gamer to make myself into a neckbearded mall ninja, or a no-lifer in Tokyo, buried in a cyber cafe never to see the light of day again. I'm a gamer to enjoy a decent challenge like God of War or something of the likes, where it's challenging yet FUN. If I want an even greater challenge after the first play through, guess what? I can go into settings, go to difficulty, and then guess what - mind blowing, revolutionary idea coming your way... I CAN CHANGE THE SETTING OF THE DIFFICULTY. To those saying 50 hours... you think someone who has a 40 hr work week and a regular social life can maintain that amount of gameplay? Get real. Go find a girlfriend and "git gud" at life. Learna new skill or language, spend your time in the real world. I have a life and job to maintain. If difficulty is something gamers sought, developers made and implemented difficulty settings that were adjustable. That was for a reason, so that it appealed to broader audience and brought in larger revenue. The "great" reviews you see everywhere are cherry picked by places like IGN to have their writers post and boast because they (IGN and others) were likely paid to do so by Fromsoftware. Not everyone wants an impossible-to-time countering system that beefs your enemies health and kills while nerfing your own and brutally punishes minuscule timing errors (less than a tenth of a second and definitely less than 1/3 of a frame, which is literally lending those who say "git gud" to be those who just spam block or use turbo/modded controllers to feel good about themselves). Not to mention your character is leaning towards zero health/armor while your enemies can just eat attacks all day. Ridiculous. Someone should take the "creative" minds at Fromsw and just get them drunk and laid and see how they feel about trying to play that game the next day. Or even better, see how their family and loved ones felt about their lifestyle as they were supposedly doing their play throughs. Hint: I bet they felt like that person at that time wasn't contributing much to their support system. Do yourself a favor and say this to yourself if your considering buying the game: No. Just no. This game is trash and everyone knows it. Those who praise it, are the people who never thought, huh, maybe I should get out of my mom's basement and go out into the world instead of no life-ing every game ever because I want 100% on a game that no one could care less about in the real world because you can't put that down as experience on a resume.
