Entertaining docu-series but both Anthony and Sarma seem equally separated from reality and crazy. Sarma is spacey and vague in her explanations. She comes across as an over privileged white woman who has no idea who she is. I find it fascinating how people like Sarma decide to fall for a dirt bag like Anthony hook line and sinker. Similar to how people decide to blindly follow cult leaders. Anthony is a dirt bag, no doubt. But she decided to do everything he asked. She is accountable also. I felt badly for her employees. They deserved better. Her testimony leaves her self representing as a sick, out to lunch, completely absent of any self awareness, co-dependent woman. Believing her dog would become immortal?! Going along with another one of Anthony’s aliases?! How disconnected can a person be? Her explanations completely lacked any sense of ownership. Gross. Rich white women have massive issues that they make up in their bubble of privilege. I wonder how much she got paid to do the docuseries.

I am going go echo previous reviews. It was interesting at first, but then it moved into focusing on India, who comes from considerable resources. India is the daughter of a actress formerly on Dynasty and is also related to the British Royal Family. I just wonder if this would have gotten HBO’s attention in India’s and India’s family’s absence. I seriously doubt it. I wish they would focus on the lessor privileged stories as there must have been many. This just ends up feeling like a bunch of rich kids trying to find a hobby and with nothing better to do but film themselves and pat themselves on the back for being of shallow character. They all operated in a totally irresponsible and self serving manner. Most of the people they focus on are actresses, heiresses, obsecurely rich, etc. To me it seems boil down to wanting to be part of the “cool” kids. Lame. Just starts to feel like everything else Hollywood, fake and out of touch with the average person. The more interesting perspective is how Keith and Nancy are master manipulators and why so many seemed to have fallen for their BS. I find Mark, Sarah, Nippy, India’s mom, all incredibly fake and self serving. But like someone else said, something to watch to fill time.
