It was awful. Dark and depressing and sloooooow. 4 of us watched it and none of us liked it. The main character suffered from a mental health issue that could have been treated before it got out of hand therefore negating the need for a long drawn out movie.
We were never enlightened on why their daughter was deaf though the couple talked as if she could hear earlier in her life.
