f I could give this series less than one star, I’d gladly dive into the negative star abyss! "Star Wars: Acolyte" would be laughable if it weren't so tragically sad. In less than one season, they've managed to dismantle everything Lucas built. First, the characters and their development are atrocious, a fact evident from the very first episode. Second, the dialogue seems to be written by third graders—sorry, third graders! Lines like "The power of one, the power of two, the power of many" are downright cringeworthy. Third, it's clear no one involved has watched Star Wars in the last 30 years. They've obliterated the lore, wrecked Darth Vader's storyline, and haven't included a single redeeming quality in the entire series.
The creators and director constantly blame and berate Star Wars fans for not appreciating their agenda-driven, woke series, which is only Star Wars by name. Most fans could make a better series on YouTube. This is the worst series I've ever watched. It's so bad that a group of us now meet over drinks just to make fun of it and watch YouTube critics do the same. By the way, the YouTube critics are better than the actual show. This series is trash, it's garbage, and I have no idea how they'll ever recover from something this terrible.
