A charming, quirky, highly imaginative spin on the virtual world that's full of heart as well as zany visuals. The animation may remind viewers who grew up in the 90s of Transformers: Beast Wars or Reboot, since this is the fresh, new style of the animation team Gooseworx, who put as much effort into the writing, and character arcs as well.
The designs of the characters are appealing, with Pomni's jester costume reflecting an ironic position she is, being the "Class Clown" of the troupe while being filled with existential dread, driven by the intense need to escape this virtual world. The voice cast is also brilliant, Michael Kovacs brings so much to Jax, being a chaotic, Bugs Bunny-like trickster with a nihilistic sense of humor. Amanda Hufford brings a likable, sisterly aspect to Ragatha, the ragdoll who looks out for Pomni like an older sibling.
Other cast members include Alex Rochan as Caine, the zany ringleader of this virtual circus, and Ashley Nichols as Zooble, a sarcastic, tired member who knows more than she let's in on.
Overall, a great animated show that deserve more attention. Would highly recommend, Oh and kids can watch it too. It's not really a kids show, per say, but it's TV-PG, and the only thing that would be a little freaky is Episode 3's scary images and deep plotline about death. But other than that, it's an all-ages show that I would highly recommend to anyone that likes animation. Check it out in Netflix!
