MADE IN ITALY is a thoughtful portrayal of a complex relationship of a father (Liam Neeson) and son, (Michael Richardso n) and their journey to face the loss of a wife and mother, against a backdrop of restoring a run-down home in Tuscany and how to face their grief and re-establish their relationship.
It's a moving and compelling story and Liam Neeson brings his gravitas to his role and his real-life son, Michael Richardson, is a talented and brilliant actor in his own right. Watched this film three times because it's a moving and well-told story of a complex and intimate relationship of a father and son and it is leaves us with the feelings of profound love and hope.
