i really tried to give this movie a chance.. but overall a boring movie. it cicles around the deppresing everyday meaningless life and monotony. also too sexual for no reason. to the point that it makes you uncomfortable. i tried watching it at work.. and all the moaning started.. with an AI..? the thing that i liked was the romantic and poetic conversations. i think it really had potential but got ruined with the slow and creepy storyline.

apsolutly one of the best films ive ever seen. i was sceptical at first, thinking its going to be a classic escape from prison movie. but the actual escape scene isnt even shown until the second half of the movie. i will admit that the story is a bit slow but done perfectly with every detail captured perfectly. you really get the picture of life in prison. i love that everything was shown till the end, the aftermath. most movies would end when andy escaped, but it showed red getting released, showed whats in the box and their actual meeting after. apsofuckinglute cinema worth every second of my time!!
