Would not recommend. Too silly for my liking. Don’t care for mixing horror and camp. And watching Ronny Chieng act is painful. Was so distracted with every word he said that contained an R. Not sure how casting could overlook his inability to pronounce one.

I kept thinking Elisabeth Moss was Kate McKinnon. She could have pulled off this role as well. Goes to show, if you drink enough, you can accept a lot of bad behavior.

It was interesting and captivating for the most part. I enjoyed the flashbacks to help piece things together, however, the last 15 minutes were silly and awkward. Why didn’t the police go to the home of the only boy in the classroom ? The home’s windows were pasted with newspapers. Duh! And there was zero explanation of the aunt and how she became the weapon of evil. And what was the black crap spewing out of these possessed people? Disappointed and smh at the end.

Good acting and engaging plot for the first hour. Didn’t make sense to me that Summer would call Terry after being drugged and that he would come back. Lost me there. After that, he dives head first into the corruption of this small town. Not believable. He was like a cat with nine lives. Might have been more interesting if he was thrown into prison with his cousin instead of being one man vigilante. 🫤

Wasted script on solid actors. Should have remained a comedy…maybe gay version of Meet the Fockers. Not a fan of comic/horror. Which is it? Pick a genre and focus on it. This film is messed up.

Unique storyline. Simple, heartfelt, desperate, yet loving. MG is excellent
