This “new” game is a soulless UPDATE of an existing game. They deleted Overwatch 1 and forced players to play Overwatch 2 that, somehow, is too broken to even play. I have played OW since release and have always enjoyed it. However, this is one of the most disappointing game experiences I have ever had. I can barely play the game. When I do, it’s a 50/50 that the servers won’t shoot the players around the map constantly. It’s in an unplayable state. I’ve lost ranked matches due to players cheating with exploits. I’ve lost ranked matches due to server glitches and errors. Blizzard’s response was “oh we’re sorry. Here’s a Halloween skin on us”. Now for the most DESPICABLE part. I wish I could have a meeting with blizzard employees and higher ups to absolutely rip them apart for this. They’ve removed all the unlockable content for heroes and put them behind a WILDLY disgusting grind wall or an expensive pay wall. Want a legendary skin you used to get in a lootbox or for lootbox coins? (Not to mention the new legendary skins are terribly designed compared to old legendaries and should be rare skins at best) Please either grind for 8 months or pay 20 dollars. Four legendary skins from old events? That’ll be 80 bucks in the store but we’ll do you a solid and drop to 40. If you want to unlock everything for free it will take over THREE. HUNDRED. YEARS with the rate the weekly grind goes. This is soulless, disgusting, and embarrassing. Not to mention new heroes are also now locked behind a grind or paywall as well. Either tons of matches or 10 bucks. They have clearly made playing the game a chore so that you will spend money on their free to play game. Blizzard, and I’m sure this is all due to the higher ups in the company, is showing their true colors. Nothing but a bunch of greedy, soulless, money grubbers. I will still play this game as I love overwatch but I will not fall to this embarrassing excuse to get money. We are watching the death of pvp games to this f2p model.
