I appreciate movies about music that demonstrate an obvious love of making music. Overall worth seeing though I found the story and acting lugubrious. Jeremy Allen tilted his head so far I thought it would snap off. Loved the New Jersey and NY locations.

Some excellent performances and topical themes marred by messy, undisciplined direction and an annoying chopsticks-drumming-on-tin-cans score. Too long, too loud, too frenetic. Also the Hallmark Card ending is a clunker.

Some good acting and music but overall hyperactive and gave me a headache

A few funny scenes undermined by dreadful photography, jittery camera movement, and terrible editing. Kinda liked the Jewish Upstate NY vibe but falls far short
Between the Temples

Incompetent filmmaking with no
plot, dreadful camerawork, and pacing to put you into a coma.

One of the worst movies
i’ve seen in some time. good ideas and characters quickly melt down into a hot, unwatchable mess. Frenetic mind games in the extreme. A symbol for our junked-out ADD work. Headache inducing. A waste of pricey popcorn. Walked out and would have paid reverse admission to do so.
