The preview really excited me so I made sure I booked tickets last night. I thought the storyline and plot started great and could of been better. It kinda dragged on and after a while you just wondered what is the big reveal was which to be honest was a little disappointing I thought it would have been a spiritual/ghost reason, the island ageing people was not explained? why does this happen? no closure Good points. Trailer very good! Started of good. The middle fantastic kept me on my seat when ppl were dying and they continued to get old. Bad points 6 year old getting pregnant- very odd and disturbing and I was very confused. Mum see’s her children are ageing and seems to think her children are ill. That was abit silly, it that was me i would have literally freaked out. It felt very rushed towards the end. Ending What I would have liked to see is the brother and sister bringing the scientists by force to that island to get old and die just like they did to their parents. Although the children who were 6 and 8 I believe had aged in a day- they didnt seem angry or upset which I found strange. All in all I’d still recommend going to see it I was just disappointed with the ending and it had the makings to be amazing it just felt rushed. I am a big fan of this director and look forward to seeing more of his work

Seeing the real story as to what happened on the news, I wasnt sure how I would feel about this film especially after the bbc version was quite dark. This film really made me look at this story from another point of view. Very sad but it was written well and gives you an insite as to how young teenagers can make mistakes that can change their lives forever
